Sustainable Music Venues

The AFM 660 Sustainable Music Venue initiative was begun in January 2009 to increase cooperation between musicians and the venues. Managers and owners of these venues have agreed to pay all musicians playing there the minimum wage cited elsewhere on this website and to offer them written contracts before they play. Clubs. restaurants, bars, and any other establishments or organizations that hire musicians can become a designated Sustainable Music Venue.
